The history of the FRANZ TÖLKE GMBH begins in 1965. On 01.01.1965 Franz Tölke (photo) creates the FRANZ TÖLKE KG with seat in the Brägeler Straße 66 in Lohne. The first staff consisted of 15 employees. This grew continuously up to a current staff of approx. 45 employees today. |

After the early death of Franz Tölke on 05.06.1967 his son Franz- Josef Tölke took over the succession. He led the company since 1967 altogether 34 years up to his early, sudden death on the 22.02.2001 and let it grow to its current size. |

In the first years the production program consisted mainly of machines for the beverage industry. In particular capping machines for champagne corks for wine cellars like Henkell or Kupferberg were built or capping machines (photo) for Asbach in Rüdesheim. |

After some years of production we started to manufacture our first unscramblers (photo) for lids and containers for the cosmetic industry (among others for Beiersdorf in Hamburg) |
